Cuve 8a & Cuve 1a
Cuve 8a is the identity of specific parcels of slightly younger vines, vinified & matured solely in concrete cuves, and can be enjoyed at a little sooner than it’s ‘grand vin’ sibling. Not a second wine, but very much a different cuvée, 2019 is the first vintage of this ground breaking wine.
Our Cuve 1a, 100% Cabernet Franc, comes from a single parcel of 1.077 hectares in the ‘Gentiers’ portion of our vineyard. For the first time in 2022, we separated our very concentrated Cabernet Franc from our main wine, and the result is sensational! In burgundy bottle, more in line with the varietal.
