- ’A grand wine from a grand vintage…very impressive and slightly imposing wine… fresh, lithe and energetic yet plump and plush.Gorgeous texture, impressive intensityand a pleasing gentle sweetness, with little hints of cinnamon and five spice in the complex mid-palate. Plums, damsons, red and black cherries and a very long finish.A great advert for its terroir. Very promising.’

- ‘… ample red cherry, raspberry and strawberry aromas laced with soy…a subtle truffle noteemerging with time... supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, more purity.. greater depth and silkier texture. ...delicious. 2020-2030’

"Extraordinary and concentrated, a long-lived wine that will be long-loved. Testament to the outstanding vintage that was 2016."
A Unique Terroir
The Néac plateau. One of the finest wines of the appellation, and one of the best value wines in France - medium bodied, not over extracted, complex, suave & extremely drinkable, typically with notes of truffle, black fruits, spice and cacao.
