Three magnums (1.5 l) of our 2019 Cuve 8a.
Cuve 8a comes from specific parcels of slightly younger vines, and is vinified and aged only in concrete, without oak. It was Thierry Garnaud's idea after 38 vintages as winemaker at Cheval Blanc: a more direct expression of the same terroir, which can be opened sooner than the Grand Vin.
Wine ages more slowly in magnum, and one bottle serves a table of eight to ten.
